Tim J. Brennan
Senior Lead Carpenter & Project Superintendent
Tim entered the commercial construction industry initially as a laborer working for his uncle. He worked as a carpenter for 12 years before joining the Capstone team in 2021. Tim is currently Capstone’s Sr. Lead Carpenter and Project Superintendent and manages the companies’ more sophisticated projects. Tim loves the attention to detail that is integral to his craft and that is at the core of Capstone’s reputation for quality.
Tim is originally from Rhode Island and currently lives in Syracuse. He is married and the father of three children. In his free time, Tim enjoys spending time with family, working on personal renovation projects and keeping a saltwater fish tank that houses exotic corals and fish.

Frank R. Peters
Lead Carpenter & Project Superintendent
Frank got started in construction as a young child working with his dad and building forts in the woods. Frank spent his adult life working in the fields of millwork and construction before joining Capstone.
What he enjoys most about building is the end result and seeing the look on the customers’ faces when they see their dream become a reality.
In his off-time Frank enjoys hunting, fishing and going to car shows and dirt racing.

Matt J. Rejman
Carpenter
Matt initially joined Capstone in 2022.
He started in construction in 2008 after 5 years as a firefighter and engineer in the U.S. Navy.
Working with Capstone he enjoys the variety of tasks we perform as well as being able to see a project from start to finish. He also enjoys working in an industry where there is always something new to learn.
Outside of work Matt enjoys spending time with his three children, camping and fishing.

Darren Sayer
Carpenter
Darren attended trade school in London, UK to study carpentry & joinery from 2003 - 2006, and passed with a certificate of distinction.
He studied cabinet making and finishing from 2005 - 2007 and passed with a certificate of distinction.
Darren started working part-time with a family friend on various projects and working in their shop learning furniture restoration.
He moved to the U.S. in 2010 and worked for a number of construction companies before joining Capstone.
His interests include his pets, family and friends.
Osha 10 Certified.

Josh D. Wheeler
Carpenter’s Apprentice
Josh is a native of Moravia, New York, He graduated from Moravia High School and was top of his class in the Construction and Building Trades program through Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES.
Josh grew up learning carpentry by working with his father on construction projects. He knew he would one day follow in his father’s footsteps and work with the family business.
Josh’s favorite part about his job is being able to see a client’s house change into their dreams at the blink of an eye. He says the end result of a project and the transformation is the best part about the work he does.

Cal C. Rockwell
Carpenter’s Apprentice
Cal spent the first 20 years of his career in commercial manufacturing. He has always had a passion for building and remodeling his homes. He decided to pursue this passion full-time by joining Capstone as an Apprentice in 2022. He has immersed himself into the trade through exploration of the tools and methods of the craft.
What Cal enjoys most about the work he does is the attention to detail involved and watching the transformation of each project progress from the client’s initial vision to the finished product.
Cal is a native to Auburn. He is the father to a teenage daughter and a young son. In his free time, Cal enjoys personal renovation projects, being in the outdoors hunting and riding motorcycles.

Luke J. Brooks
Laborer
Luke is a native of Auburn. He graduated from Auburn High School and Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES for Building Trades in 2021.
Luke’s entry into construction began when he was young, helping his father build various things for their home including decks, fences, bookshelves, and cabinets.
Luke joined Capstone in 2023.
Among his immersion into the field and world of carpentry, he has learned that a good attitude and willingness to exceed your own expectations are the key to success.
